1. What is "Mesh"?
Mesh models enable designers to create more detailed and realistic models compared to the previously used sculpties. They're made by using external software tools.

2. What is the difference between "Rigged" and "Non-Rigged" Mesh?
Rigged Mesh:
- It will move and bend along with your avatar, when it's animated.
- CAN NOT be scaled or moved, when it's attached to the avatar.
Non-Rigged Mesh:
- It doesn't follow avatar's movement. It behaves like any other attached prims or sculpties.
- CAN be scaled and moved, when it's attached to the avatar.
3. What are "Standard sizes" for?
Rigged clothing still can't fit most adult female avatars, so a group of Second Life designers decided to standardize the avatar's shape, so that consumers can identify with at least one of the sizes. So they've came to the conclusion that there are 5 shapes that should represent the 5 most common adult female avatar sizes in Second Life: Extra Extra Small (XXS), Extra Small (XS), Small (S), Medium (M), and Large (L).
4. Why do I need to wear alpha clothing layers?
There is a big possibility that your shape doesn't fit entirely to the chosen standard size. This is when the alpha clothing layers come to help. They should hide the other shape variations that the standard sizes couldn't cover on their own. If it doesn't help, perhaps you should modify your shape a bit, to fit better to the Standard Sizes.
5. How to wear an alpha clothing layer?
Since all rigged meshes come with their own alpha clothing layers, it's necessary to "add" them instead of just "wear" them. If you "wear" an alpha clothing layer, it will take off all other alpha clothing layers that you have worn previously. When the alpha clothing layers is "added", it will lay itself on top of the others without taking them off.
